Our PTA executive is innovative, energetic and above all passionate about making HJPS the best it can be.
In recent years, the PTA has hosted a wide range of events catering for pupils and parents, including annual fun days, school discos, bingo nights and quizzes.
Other initiatives include teaming up with All Aboard to collect nearly new goods to sell in their shops, stocking approved birthday biscuits for children to celebrate their special day with their class and producing an annual school calendar.
The money raised by the PTA has purchased a new playground equipment and astroturf, iPads, camera equipment, interactive whiteboards, tables and chairs for the dining hall, sports equipment, Jewish books for the school library, reading books for the Ivrit scheme and much more!
We also help enhance Jewish Studies activities, such as providing apple and honey at Rosh Hashanah, snacks for the Succot party, doughnuts at Chanukah, Mishloach Manot at Purim and assistance at the mock Seders.
Aside from fundraising, the PTA works closely with class reps and encourages regular coffee evenings to create a sense of community between the parents.
We are always open to new ideas and fundraising opportunities and welcome everyone to join the PTA.
