We have apples and honey, shofar blowing and Rosh Hashanah card making.
We create Sukkah art for our school Sukkah, eat lunch in the Sukkah and have opportunity for children and parents to shake the Arbah Minim.
We have daily candle lighting assemblies with community Rabbis, eating donuts and some classes create Chanukiahs.
Celebrations include class-based activities including fruit decorating and planting seeds.
We hold a Megillah reading assembly, classes take part in a Mishloach Manot swap, we hold a costume parade and children receive Hamantashen.
We hold traditional seders for an immersive Pesach experience, full of song and celebration.
We hold candle lighting assemblies for Year 3 – Year 6.
Children come dressed in blue and white and have activities throughout the day including singing Hatikvah, army fun, biscuit decorating and an Israeli style lunch.
We run a variety of fun and creative class-based activities.
One of the highlights of the year – children get to make and eat cheesecake!
