School teams

Children from HJPS represent the school in a number of different sport teams during their time in Key Stage 2. We believe that school teams provide an opportunity for children to work on invaluable skills of teamwork, communication and coping with both winning and losing. Teams take part in a number of tournaments, including those arranged by Maccabi, along with friendly matches and competitions within the local area.

School teams that have completed in the past include:

• Football
• Netball
• Hockey
• Speed-stacking

At HJPS, we select children through a try-out process, in partnership with our PE delivery partner, The Elms. This ensures fairness, but also allows the most competitive teams to represent the school.
